Eleven (11) to twelve (12) point font; double-spaced.
Margins no greater than one (1) inch.
Paper Requirements:
Using your Big Five (5) personality assessment results from Survey Set #2 your paper should encompass the
following points (in no particular order):
1. Analysis of your personality/communication style results.
Things to consider: Before completing the Big Five (5) assessment did you associate yourself with the
same personality/communication style as your results? Did you associate yourself with a different
personality style?
If you have taken other Personality Assessments in the past (such as the DiSC profile) you can include
an analysis (and a comparison!) of those results as well.
2. Comparison of your personality style to other personality/communication styles.
Things to consider: In your experience what personality/communication styles do you work well with?
What styles do you struggle working with?
Why might you work better with some personality/communication styles as compared to others? Hint:
There is a lot of solid research out there on this!
3. How can knowing your and/or others’ personality/communication styles benefit you in the workplace?
Things to consider: How can this benefit you as a leader? What about as a co-worker? What about as a
subordinate?
4. In what ways can an organization benefit from requiring staff to take personality assessments?
Things to consider: When/how often should organizations administer personality assessments? During
the recruitment process? Once a year?
Ethical Question: Should the organization share individuals assessment results with other employees?
What would be the benefit of doing so? Do you think any employees might object?
5. Your personal conclusions regarding the usefulness of Personality Assessments.
