Two ideas I have for the project are “Is meat good for us?” and “is the halo effect real?”. I chose “Is meat good for us” because many people believe that eating meat is healthy for humans, while some say that removing it from your diet completely is much better for your body. The halo effect is a widely known phenomenon, that makes people believe some people are better than they realistically are. This can cause people that are held in higher regard to not have to face punishments forcrimes at the same severity as a normal person.

One idea that I have been thinking about is “Should smoking be banned in public areas?” Many places prohibit smoking, but other places have designated areas that smokers can be in and are allowed to smoke. If smoking has more harmful effects than positives, why not crack down on areas that smokers can smoke. My second idea is “Should a college degree be necessary to be more successful?” Many articles show that having a college degree increases your chance of getting paid more. There have been numerous individuals that have dropped out of college and not even gone to college and have become successful. So is a college degree really necessary?
