1. Read the applicable NCEES Model Rules of Professional Conduct (Engineers) and CMAA Code of Ethics (Construction Managers). Write two short essays (250 words) summarizing the rules and code in your own words. Your essays should include an introduction, a paragraph for each of the major professional obligations, and a conclusion.

Write 500-word essays, each, briefly summarizing the case studies and applying the NCEES Model Rules (Engineers) or CMAA Code of Ethics (Construction Managers) to your case studies. Analyze the professional decisions in the case studies and state your opinion as to how the individual in the case should behave; what errors of ethical judgment were made and how the issues should be resolved or prevented. Four-digit case studies refer to the National Institute of Engineering Ethics (NIEE) case studies. One or two-digit case studies refer to the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) case studies. The NIEE case studies are each in a separate file. The AIC case studies are all in one file.
